Salary: circa £30,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Retail this role is varied and challenging but equally rewarding.  Leading and motivating a team who are mainly volunteers across 2 sites initially, to deliver the highest level of service to our customers and attract supporters. The successful candidate will be someone who:

  • Has proven experience in successfully managing a charity retail operation.
  • Can lead by example and has demonstrable experience of managing and motivating large teams, made up of employees and volunteers, possibly across multiple sites.
  • Has experience of working to and exceeding sales targets with the ability to identify opportunities to maximise income generation.
  • Is a creative merchandiser.
  • Can demonstrate their ability to effectively implement and maximise income from Gift Aid.

  • Be passionate about delivering great customer experiences
  • Have strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and enjoy interacting with others

  • Hold a full UK driving license.
