Funding application policy & process

For the NHS Charities Together Funding Opportunity please follow the link:  NHS Charities Together

Our funding policy sets out what projects we can support. Please have a read before you apply for funding as things may have changed since you last applied.

Funding Policy

If you have any questions at all, please contact the Funding Team on 0113 539 7091 or email [email protected]

We work closely with Leeds Teaching Hospitals to consider applications and ensure funding is awarded to projects that will have the most impact on patient care and wellbeing, making best use of charitable donations.

If you are successful in your application for funding, we will work with you to capture a case study about the impact of funding to share with our donors and supporters. This is an important part of the process and helps us attract future donations and support.

For applications under £10,000 the Chief Executive has delegated authorities to approve these applications on behalf of the Board of Trustees. The process is outlined here:

Under £10,000 application process

For applications over £10,000 wider consultation takes place involving a Review Group, Funding Committee with the Board of Trustees making the final decision. You will also need to fill out an Expression of Interest form. The process is outlined here:
