Get involved Our events Norman Hunter Golf Day 2026 Friday 10th July 2026 | Horsforth Golf Club | Tee times from 8am Organised in memory of the much-loved Leeds United legend For all information about entering a team, please contact [email protected] The Norman Hunter Golf Day returns for the sixth year, on Friday 10th July 2026 at Horsforth Golf Club, Leeds. The family of much loved Leeds United and England footballer Norman Hunter will be hosting the tournament in his memory, raising money to support Leukaemia Research at Leeds Cancer Centre. For all information about entering a team, please contact [email protected] In 2025, the golf day raised over £30,000 towards supporting a research fellow as part of the FLAIR and STATIC trials which are large, internationally significant trials that will inform future Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) treatment on a global scale. These targeted treatments for CLL continue to improve in our push towards a cure. The income raised to date over the four golf days is over £170,000. This year’s money will continue the academic research to look for a cure for CLL and test immune system recovery in CLL patients on and off treatment. Refreshments at the halfway house will be included and a full buffet lunch. Later there will be evening entertainment and an auction.
