Welcome to our quarterly update

As summer unfolds, we’re excited to share our latest quarterly update, covering the inspiring initiatives and events from April to June. We continue to be incredibly grateful for the generous support from our amazing corporate partners whose contributions are helping improve the lives of patients, their families and staff who visit and work at NHS hospitals in Leeds.

In this edition, we spotlight the fundraising highlights that have made a real difference, showcase impact stories that reflect the heart of your support, and share ways your business can continue to get involved through ongoing appeals and projects. We also look ahead to some exciting upcoming events that are set to inspire even greater involvement and impact in the months ahead.

Lindsey Burrow Raises £18,500 in Memory of Rob

Charity Patron Lindsey Burrow raised £18,500 through the London and Rob Burrow Leeds Marathons in honour of her late husband. We’re grateful to HH Construction and Keepmoat for kindly sponsoring Lindsey’s vests

Funds raised support the Rob Burrow Centre for MND, helping to fund specialist equipment, holistic therapies, a therapeutic garden, family services, and pioneering research into early diagnosis, a first for Leeds.

Thanks to support like this, we can continue our work advancing MND care and research here in Leeds. If your company would like to support our MND Appeal or be part of a future challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

"My Lifeline to the Outside World” - Free Wigs for Cancer Patients

“Losing my hair made me feel like I was losing myself. The wig gave me back my confidence.”

Thanks to your support, around 30 patients each month receive a free wig and personalised hair-loss support at Leeds Cancer Centre. But with demand growing—especially for inclusive options for BME patients—we need your help to sustain and expand the service.

£78 could fund a wig for a patient undergoing cancer treatment.

Everyday Giving: Small Actions, Big Corporate Impact

Not every impact needs a big event, it starts with small, meaningful steps.

From bake sales and book swaps to “Wear a Football Shirt” day or walking 14,000 steps in a day (just like our NHS nurses), there are creative ways your team can support. Add to that payroll giving or our £2-a-week charity lottery and you’ve got everyday giving, made simple.

We’ll help tailor the best way for your workplace to give.
