Donating to Leeds Hospitals Charity in memory of someone you love is a very special way to celebrate their life, give back to the NHS who cared for them and change the future for other patients and families in Leeds and Yorkshire.

Make a one-off donation or pay in a collection from a funeral. Here, you’ll be able to let us know who you’re collecting for, why they’re important to you and what Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust meant to them.

Collect donations in memory of your loved one - We can send you information, post envelopes and collection boxes ahead of their service or celebration of life.

Remembrance Plaques

Remember someone special or give a gift in memory by purchasing a plaque on our Memory Path.

Our Memory Path is a beautiful walkway that winds through the landscaped lawn outside our St James’s Chapel. It’s a tranquil space that leads walkers to or from the Gledhow Wing and represents the journeys our loved ones have taken.

Plaques are available to line the walls of the path from £150 depending on the amount of time you’d like your plaque to remain installed. You’ll receive a printed certificate to commemorate your purchase.

Once your installation has ended, you can choose to renew it or have your plaque returned to you to remember your loved one in your own special location.

The People’s Woodland

Sponsoring The People’s Woodland, it’s 20,000 trees, wildflower meadows and wetland habitats, in memory of someone you love is a wonderful way to celebrate their life and legacy.

Your gift in their name will help to change the lives and landscape for the people of Leeds for generations to come by creating a beautiful green space that promotes lower cortisol levels, lower blood pressure, an increased white blood cell count to defend people from viruses and infections, and increased mental wellbeing. Your gift in memory could mean fewer people than ever could need to use the services of our Leeds Hospitals.
