About us Latest News Corporate Partnerships: Autumn Update 2025 Welcome to our quarterly update It’s hard to believe that we are in October already and with autumn well underway we want to reflect on the summer and highlight some of the truly fantastic fundraising events our amazing corporate partners have been engaged in to raise funds to help improve the lives of patients, their families and staff members who visit and work at the NHS hospitals across Leeds. This update will highlight the impact your fundraising is making and showcase projects that, with your support, will continue to improve health care outcomes for those coming to hospital for treatments. A summer of golf The weather this summer meant that charity golf days organised by Avanta UK and Lovell were a real success. Avanta UK hosted their very first golf day on 4th July (left). Jo Maughan and Harvey Rose entertained 72 guests during the day and evening raising funds for The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease through a raffle and auction. The centre will now benefit from a fantastic £5,000 donated on the day. Jo and the Avanta UK team are now focusing the next fundraising activities to support The Play Team at Leeds Children's Hospital. Robert Adam (Regional Managing Director, Lovell) and his superb team held their annual golf day at Wakefield Golf Club in July. Lovell have been raising funds in support of The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease, and this year's event raised over £9,000 which will support patients and their families who will be using the centre from early December this year. Keep on running and getting muddy! This summer two incredible corporate partners leapt out of their comfort zones to take on a Tough Mudder and run 7 marathons in 7 days. Members of the wonderful social value team at Gallaghers joined hundreds of people to complete the famous Tough Mudder course. The team raised over £1,000 towards their annual Charity of The Year partnership with Leeds Hospitals Charity. A huge well done to Oli and team for your support. DLA Piper chose to raise funds for The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease throughout the charity partnership. Employee Ben Howarth was inspired by Kevin Sinfield and decided to put together his own 7in7 challenge. Starting on 19th September, Ben ran a marathon each day, crossing the finish line on 25th September. Ben was joined by close friends and colleagues during the week and has so far raised over £5,000.
