In April this year, we held our first annual Leeds Children’s Hospital Charity Ball.

Today, we’re delighted to share that the Leeds Children’s Hospital Charity Ball has raised almost £50,000, which will make a real difference to some of Leeds Children’s Hospital’s smallest patients and their families.

On the night, guests heard from Natalia and Emma who have raised over £28,000 for Leeds Hospitals Charity to fund a life-saving incubator.

Natalia’s twins Leo and Luca were born 11 weeks early after contracting TAPS (Twin Anaemia Polycythaemia Sequence) and had to fight through prematurity, infections, anaemia and multiple surgeries.

Thanks to the incredible care Luca and Leo received on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Leeds Children’s Hospital, the boys, now 15 months old are thriving and living life a happy and healthy life at home with their family.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended the inaugural ball and a special shout out to Barbara Rider, our Chair of the Ball Committee who played a huge part in making this event a success.
