The maximum grant available is £2,500 and we’re looking for a range of projects and initiatives of varying value from £75 to £2,500 that will have a direct impact on staff working at Leeds Teaching Hospitals by the end of December 2025. What we’re looking for We’re interested in receiving applications that will enhance the wellbeing of the LTHT workforce by end of December 2025. We would like you to work with your colleagues to identify an issue around workforce wellbeing, substantiate this with data/evidence and identify creative solutions. The Leeds Improvement Method may be a useful framework for your application – more information on LIM is available here. Your application should include: An overview of the current situation and the problem you are trying to solve – and how you substantiated this Evidence that you have worked with colleagues to identify and agree a solution to the problem A plan for how you will know if your intervention/project has been successful (e.g. what data would you collect to know whether or not what you have implemented has worked?) Proposals that have the potential for wider implementation across several specialties, staff groups and/or Clinical Service Units are welcomed. We’re interested in how the funding will provide opportunities for development, and your plans to ensure it is sustainable beyond the end of the funding. Applications should demonstrate that they will have the potential to deliver impact in one of our three impact areas: Tackling health inequalities Treatments of rare conditions Innovation and health technologies This impact could either be on staff (for example, your application will positively impact staff who are experiencing health inequalities) or on patients (for example, your application will positively impact on staff who are treating patients with a rare condition).
